Review: bareMinerals READY Foundation with SPF20 and Precision Face Brush*

Hey guys,

I decided I would do a review for you today now this is something I have been trying out for a while after it was sent to me because I couldn't attend an event :( so this wasn't sent for review but as more of a consolation present from the lovely people over at bareMinerals.

It is the bareMinerals READY Foundation with added SPF20 in it and the recommended brush to use with it the Precision Face Brush.

So lets get down to the reviewing shall we?

This is a really fine powder that almost feels creamy to the touch, it even has a teeny tiny amount of shimmer in it if you look really carefully which gives a really nice natural glow. If you use the Precision Face Brush then you can achieve pretty high coverage or for a less full on look you could just use a fluffy brush. I got the shade R110 because I am normally the palest shade in nearly every single foundation but I underestimated the amazing shade range as I would actually say I was around the R150/R170 mark so definately get shade matched if you are thinking of buying this as now mine is way way way too pale which is such a shame :( At the moment I am using it as a kind of setting powder for my other liquid foundation which is a little too dark for me at the moment so at least I can get some use out of it.

At first I thought that this would be drying on my skin and that is would just look quite cakey but in fact it was quite the opposite even with my really dry skin. It is actually really hydrating and as long as you moisturise and use primer you can avoid the whole "my makeup is about to crack off my face look" which is always a plus.

The packaging is really sturdy and has a really nice big mirror at the top which is really handy for when you are out and about. This is avaliable for £25 which can be a little pricey but it is well worth it and you get quite a lot of product for your money. The Precision Face Brush can be bought for £25 so maybe you could as for them together for a Christmas present or something? These can both be bought from bareminerals direct or other outlets which locations can be found online.

I hope you enjoyed,
Maddie x
