Maddie's World...

Firstly I want to apologise for the lack of posts recently :( I am in the middle of my GCSEs and I'm finding it hard to find time to write blog posts but I'm on study leave now so it should be a bit better and I am also trying to sort a few other things so that that doesn't happen and you aren't post less. Bear with me and we'll get there :)

So I got very excited this morning when I got back from my exam to find a little package on my doorstep; I recently requested a free sample from E45 and honestly I didn't think it would come but there it was.

It may have been a little battered but that doesn't bother me...

E45 is a brand which is renowned for treating dry skin and excezma amazingly well and despite suffering with excezma pretty badly all of my life I had never really tried many of their products. I think the only product I have ever used by them was the E45 junior shower gel which had the little blue and red capsule things in, It is such a past time for me but it was amazing as it was great for my skin but it wasn't a boring shower gel my doctor had given me (Sadly it has now been discontinued :'(...). I thought that maybe I should try and get into their products as I know they would help my skin a great deal.

So when I was looking on their website at all the products and I saw that I could get a sample of one of their lotions I jumped at the chance as whilst I know that it shouldn't irritate my skin it is always good to check and I could also see if it actually worked.

I requested the Intense Recovery lotion as it seemed the most appropriate for me but you can also request three of the other lotions. Here is a bit more detail on all of them:

- Touchably Smooth - an everyday lotion to help keep skin feeling soft and smooth.

- Nourish and Restore - an everyday lotion to help prevent dry skin and retain moisture.

- Moisturising Lotion - A fragrance free everyday lotion that soothes, softens and relievers dry and sensitive skin.

- Intensive recovery - A fragrance free everyday lotion that helps restore the skin's moisture and restore smooth skin.

I would therefore suggest:

Normal skin - Touchably Smooth

Occasionally Dry Skin - Nourish and Restore

Dry and Sensitive Skin - Moisturising Lotion

Very dry and Borken Skin - Intense Recovery

I only have a sample of the Intensive Recovery Lotion and so from here on I will only be able to talk about the effects of this lotion and not the others. I received three sachets of a reasonable size and my plan is to use these on a select piece of skin on my arm which is very sore and has lots of dry patches at the moment, once I have used all of them up I will post a final review but up until then I will post a picture each day of how the skin is looking.
