Maybelline Baby Lips...
Hey guys,
So I joined the hype, these are all over instagram and are a nightmare to find for so many people although I have to say I didn't really have that problem but maybe my local boots just had a delivery or something??? I have to say I didn't particularly buy this because of the hype over them but more because they have a fairly low price tag and do exactly what I want them to do.
I picked up the shade Pink Punch which looks a little like this:
I'll definitely be picking up some different shades of these as soon as possible, there is a peach shade with my name on it!!
You can get them from here or here.
Hope you have enjoyed,
Maddie x

I picked this up from my local Boots store for just £2.99 and they also have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment although I didn't use this as I wanted to make sure that I liked them before I went and spent loads of money on them.
So do I like them? YES!!!!!
I wanted something that had a bit of colour in it but was also a really good moisturising lip balm because my lips get very dry which means I have to put lots of lip balm on but I can't do that if I have lip gloss or lipstick on so this product kills two birds with one stone and will be perfect for college!! YAY!!
Here are some more pictures for you lovelies:

Review: E45 Intensive Recovery Lotion - The Verdict
Hey,
So it's been a while but hopefully I'm back for good now *crosses fingers*, I have a few posts to write up for you but first I thought I would tie up any loose ends that I created. That means finishing off this review, what I had planned to do didn't exactly happen so I'm just going to tell you what I thought of it.
This stuff is AMAZING!! It worked really well I was putting it on about twice a day and you could see the difference after about 2 days and by the time I had finished the sample the sore skin on my arm was nearly gone. Here is the before picture which you saw in the original post:
Unfortunately I don't have an after picture to show you as over recent weeks my eczema has got increasingly worse meaning that I have a doctors appointment to get some very strong steroid creams. I can promise you that this really works and if you have dry skin or mild eczema I would really recommend it to you.
Sorry for the quick post but I just wanted to get something up for you and there wasn't much for me to say about this product other than how good it is,

Review: MUA Undress Me Too Palette
Hiya,
I've managed to find another 10 minute gap in revision and I thought I'd try to do a quick review on the amazing MUA Undress Me Too palette.
As you can probably tell I'm in love with this product it's amazing! The palette contains 12 eyeshadows and it is an almost perfect dupe for the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay except this one is only £4!
The colours are all almost exactly the same although I don't have the Naked 2 palette to compare it to, they colours are all very pigmented apart from the black which could perhaps have a bit more colour but it really doesn't bother me as it is my least used colour.
The palette comes with an eyeshadow brush which I'm not normally keen on I prefer a bristle brush but this actually really helps to pick up the colour and the shadow as it is a bit powery with a normal brush.
This is an excellent dupe for the Naked 2 palette especially for the price as I am in no position at the moment to buy the naked palettes at the moment although I would love to get them in the future. There is also a MUA undress me palette which is a dupe for the original Naked palette but I felt that I would use the colours in this palette more.
If you are interested in this palette you can get it here and I would really recommend it to anyone if you want a really good neutrals palette.
Hope you enjoyed,
Maddie x
Product Review: MUA eXtreme Curl Mascara
Hello lovelies,
So as I mentioned in my Birmingham Haul I am going to be reviewing some of the products that I bought whilst I was there and the first on my hit list was the MUA eXtreme curl mascara.
If I had to do a three word review it would be: "don't buy it!"

As far as I'm concerned it's rubbish, one of the main problems for me was the smell! Once I opened the pot I could smell the vile cheap smell and then once it was on my eyes I could smell it for a god hour or two. I wasn't expecting it to smell amazing...far from it but I wasn't expecting that! If I can smell it then everyone near me must me able to smell it too, it is honestly vile.
It also made my eyes very itchy and dry whilst I was wearing it, and despite washing it off very vigorously the night before I woke up to a lovely surprise the next day.....BUSH BABY EYES!! YAY!! I must have has an allergic reaction to it or something because when I woke up the skin around my eyes was very dry, sore and really dark; I looked like I hadn't slept for weeks. Despite, putting loads of moisturiser on and taking an antihistamine tablet everyday they took a few days to fade and are still there now. I'm not saying this will happen to everyone as I do have eczema but just be warned that it may happen to you.
The other major moan I have about this is the brush, it looks nothing like a curl mascara brush but like someone at the factory has picked up a normal one, bent the end and shoved it into the bottle. It is so awkward to use because of this, I can't get the right angle or curl both sides of my lashes only the inner corner or the outer corner depending which eye.
Here is a picture of the so called curl wand...

The only good thing about this mascara is that it doesn't seem to clog when you put it on no matter how much you layer it. I will keep this but I'm sure it will just get added to my pile of disappointing products that only ever get used in a dire emergency.
I really don't like this product at all, it really isn't worth the £3 I paid for this but if you really want to try it then it is available in most Superdrug stores around the UK.
Thanks guys,
Maddie x
Mini Rimmel Haul/Reviews
Hello beauties,
Apologies for the post on revision that I have only just posted I just noticed that I had saved it as a draft rather than scheduling it :(
Yesterday, I went to the cinema with my dad and little brother to see "the croods" (really good film btw) and I walked by one of the biggest boots stores in the area, how could I resist? Especially with their amazing 3 for 2!!
So I went and bought some goodies all of which happen to be Rimmel:
1) Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
This is something that I have wanted for a while because of the amazing range of shades and knowing that they did a really light shade (I'm so pale that I normally don't even bother swatching, I just buy the lightest shade and go) that would hopefully suit me with out that orange tint I have so often. Another reason for buying this was to replace my natural collection tinted moisturiser because quite frankly it was rubbish, I've really lost faith in them but more about that another time.
I have only worn this today and honestly it's amazing, I suits me perfectly. I purchased the shade 010 light porcelain (swatched below) , which when applied seems almost too pale but then the magic colour match formula gets working and it blends perfectly. It really gives the your skin but better look.
As far as wear is concerned, I think it has lasted really well, I applied the product at about 6:30 this morning and now at nearly 5:30 it's still going strong, this is with a gym session mid afternoon as well! It does feel a little dewy still but it's better than your face feeling really dry and gross!
2) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I wanted this just because I had read that the foundation can be a little too dewy if you don't apply setting powder. This is nothing special but is still a really good product. I bought the translucent one as it was simply for setting the foundation rather than adding colour, so I can't say much about pigmentation but I've heard it's good :)
3) Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer
These have been raved about in the bloggersphere so much the last few weeks I just had to try it and when it was free on the 3 for 2 it would be rude not too.
I love this just like nearly every other blogger, it looks like a gloss but has the feel of a lipstick on your lips rather than a sticky mess. I bought the colour 600 nude eclipse (swatched below) as I had run out of a neutral lip colour and I wasn't brave enough to try out a bright colour as I don't really feel they suit me. These are definitely worth the money if you don't own one (at least) you need to.
Hope you have enjoyed this little haul,
Maddie x

Cutex: Nourishing Nail Polish Remover Review
Howdy,
So today marks day four of nail related posts, this wasn't intentional but as I will be uploading the reivew of the nail look posted on Monday tomorrow I will have done a weeks worth of nail posts so I hope you have enjoyed and I'm sure there will be many more in the future.
So onto today's product, as mentioned in the dotty nail tutorial I have found a nail polish remover that I absolutely love. It is the Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover for weak nails.
I bought this stuff in Morrisions (a UK supermarket) when I was staying at my dad's house and realised I had no remover with me if I had a little misshap when painting my nails which undoubtedly I did. I wasn't expecting amazing things after all it was £2.99 however, it is cutex so I wasn't expecting it to be rubbish either.
I literally have nothing bad to say about this product it is nothing but amazing. I ended up buying the weak nails one just because they had run out of the normal one and it's all they had left. Whilst weak nails is something I struggle with it had never crossed my mind that a nail polish remover could help me fix that problem, but two uses later my nails already feel ten times stronger thanks to the added vitamins and minerals. I might just have to paint my nails just so I can use this on my nails and hopefully combat my little problem.
Something, which I have only just noticed whilst sitting do this review is that on the bottle just under the bit about added vitamins and minerals it says that the remover has a nail whitening formula. I hadn't even seen this but looking down at my nails on the keyboard not only are they now stronger the tips are now considerably whiter.
In regard to the job I actually bought this product for it works like a dream, it removes the polish so much easier than the basic shop brand removers I have had before and it smells like vanilla rather than that god awful smell so many other removers have.
I hope you have liked this review on something many beauty bloggers just take as another boring thing in the back of the cupoard. Although, I would call this one of my beauty essentials......in fact I may just add this post to that label now.
